I missed this thread somhow. I will be there saturday night and going to the NHRA race sunday. I'm staying at the Venetian for the week. Leaving friday night.
I'm going to try and make it again this year, can't get away until later in the week though. Looking at getting in late Wednesday night.
I'll be there we get in on Monday and are staying @ the Bellagio...My first time to SEMA, been to Vegas a couple of times before for the World of Concrete show. Should be just a little more interesting.....
i am going to try to make it out next year. i was trying to go this year but it got expensive quick

Talked to Mike mmlmm yesterday about this . Tuesday would be good . Also talked to Joe at PPE about maybe having a meeting point at the house he rented . He said that would be fine . It is also Dan Grants Bday Tues .
So I guess Tuesday it should be . Sounds like a good day to get together . I will call and find out exactly where the house is and look it up on google map and see if it is even feasable to meet there . After Tues we can always throw out another night for those who want to meet more before sema is over . Joe said it is only 10 minutes from Show . I will find out today . It might not be realistic if it is to far or to hard to direct guys to. I will get on it and find out where it is . I dont know the schedule on parties . But we can always meet at The PPE house and then go wherever after all arrive .
The Hard Rock cafe usually puts on some good events at night and then there is all the big parties at places like the Palms and many others .
Would like to meet all the web junkies from all over the country , would be pretty cool . I will call and get address this morning and see if it is good to meet at or if we all met at a easy to find place .
Any thoughts on this idea . The house is easy to find might be a good starting point .
My number is 714-514-3675 John if anybody has a better idea or needs to get me while up there . Put it in your phones . Maybe the kodiak would be a good taxi for those without cars that need a pick up to where we decide . We should get something in stone at least before show .

I think we should grab a bunch of food and beer and meet up at a house or something on Tueday early evening. Celebrate Dan turning 45 or whatever. Then see how it goes from there. If it get slow we all can head out. Nothing gets going in this town party wise till about 10-11pm, and then at that time there is tons of stuff to do. All the good clubs will be packed and crazy during sema.
Ill talk to a buddy more about it here see if he has any ideas.
Lets put a list together if we have somewhat of a house party who'd be intersted.

Me towing to Sema was my way up . Looks like no tows . Plans have changed a bit for me . . If you guys make your plans , I would try to maybe drive up that day to meet everybody for the night .
Thought the usual gig first towing for RBP . Economy has that toned down . The trailer I use belongs to them . I maintain and store it for trade in use . They are towing 1 truck themselves with that trailer . Had a good referal and call for 3 tows from local shops to sema but turned down due to no trailer . Then the PPE thing was big 4 vehicles going . And me with no trailer meant many trips with Joes single car trailer . Thought good gig for me . Was going to stay in vegas all week after many back to back trips till done then same going home . Joe got smart and got a dually and take 3 trailer so I guess he is towing eveything . Or maybe one of his guys is driving it up . He didnt ask me to drive it .
So Im without tows for now . But I will try to swing whatever night you guys decide on .
