How do I get tickets for Sema? I know it's not open to the public. I am in the automotive business. Can anyone give me any ideas?

Thanks

What do you do? Own a shop?

Basically its open to anyone who can prove they have a real need to be there. Requires Business License from your state, business card with your position on it or other form of work ID, etc.

I love that little quip:

Showrooms, hospitality suites or special presentations cannot be hosted by Nonexhibiting Manufacturers/Service Providers anywhere in Las Vegas during AAIW.

Exactly how well that would fly in court is really debatable, and how they would enforce it is comedy. What would they do, kick you out of SEMA for having a meeting at the Bellagio? Uh, wait, you aren't AT SEMA, so it would be difficult to remove you from SEMA.

I will be going but I also was selected by sema for the 2009 SEMA Show Research Program.

Whatever that means. I guess they give me credentials and I take notes lol, then share the research on forums I visit. lol.

I went to the Sema show last year. It was a good time. Saw lots of good stuff. I was there mostly for the diesel aspect of it. I didn't see much that i wasn't already aware of just from browsing the net and message boards but it was still good to see all the sights. Lots of nice vehicles there.

I got the chance to meet the EFILive crew, Socal guy and McRat. They were deep in some talk about how the oil injector spraying on the bottom of the piston will actually alter performance... it was pretty heavy duty and I didn't stick around for long. I've got a long way to go before I'm worried about things like that!
