Banks infomercial anyone?

Why dont they compare theirs to RickLance's?

Pretty silly not to include a port for an EGT probe.

Either way, If your going to put a port somewhere, the correct place would be in the radius of the up pipe or even just before the turbo inlet, then you would get accurate readings. What are measuring anyway? Right?
Anyone?

I'd rather read the hottest temp. All I use it for anymore is for lighting a turbo as a gauge. But when I got it I was planning on using it to check my egt so I know if my pistons are gonna melt lol. Kinda for getting a idea of how hot the cylinders are, but I never looked at the gauge or cared it just looked cool. I care about general idea of turbo heat more so now.

The hottest temp would be in the radius. I don't know why manufacturers put them where they do.

Anybody that installs a set of manifolds is going to want a pyrometer, so there's really no good reason not to put a port in it. Also, it looks like the PPE manifolds they're comparing them to are the old ones that PPE bought from Rick and re-labeled.

I forgot to mention that also and is an unfair comparison to PPE 's stuff.

There most likely isn't going to be a big difference in power on any of them. Buy from who ever you trust, or who ever has the best price.

Also the hottest temp IS closest to the cylinder. ;)

I personally like your manifolds best because they are best at addressing the rear cylinders and up pipe flow.
If I were to get a set they would definately Ricks new design.
Just my opinion though

Rick's customer service is also unparalleled. I have a set of his headers and he fixed one of my up pipes with 1 day turnaround, no questions asked at no charge, with excellent communication, and I was able to get it back together in time for pulling.

I doubt any of the other manufacturers provide service anywhere close to that.

X2 on customer service from Rick Lance. I bought a set of unused log style headers from a forum member. He had them laying around for a few months before I got them. Then I had them laying around for a few months before I needed to install them. Turns out there was no hardware in the box. So I made a call to Rick, he verified they were his, and he shipped the hardware to me the same day. Truly a stand up guy. Rick's customer service as good as you could ask for. :thumb:
