Like sold back to Kory for a credit towards a v2? I've been wondering the same but haven't inquired with Tony yet since I'm not in a rush.

Either sell back to him or sell to someone else and have kory swap vins for whatever it would cost.

I want to try some different tunes and don't like the fact I have to buy a new autocal each time, it's a lot of wasted money.

I hear you I wish I would have bought a v2 the first time not knocking Tony, I just don't have a Duramax anymore. Got a 5.3 and a 6.0 that need love.

Email them. You can send it back to get unlinked from his V2. Then you'll have a blank Autocal to send to the tuner of your choice

X2. Last autocal I had from him I sold for around 100 bucks just so I didnt have to deal with his crap no more. 1000.00 worth of tuning wasted.

10-4, I'll do that. And I'll call around to see who will tune it for less than 700 bucks. I need new tunes but 700 bucks will re-do most of my kitchen floor I'm getting ready to start on

If it costs that much to load up, why not just pay 899 for the v2 and maybe your tuner of choice would throw in a tune for free? Never hurts to ask

Care to elaborate on this for future reference's'?

Well after having his tunes. Getting a autocal. Paying tune updates as I made changes on my set up I was over 1000 with him. But once it came time for actual "custom tuning" I gave up. Was not going to trust my built motor with the dumb things he missed.

Threads like these remind me why I waited and bought a used V2 with 1 ECM and 2 TCM slots and have an unlocked tune. If you setup you're computer correctly you can see and change all the emissions parameters on the LML's....:woott:

I'm in BFE WV. There's no one close enough I know with a v2. A lot of guys here still think smarty and edge is the shit.

It's not the money really. It's the fact I'd like to try other tunes and/or tuners and not have to send shit out or buy new autocal a each time and either pay for the vin license and the tuners time or just buy new vins.

A guy on here offered a tune for me to try and it'd be nice just to buy another license or whatever I have to do to do so instead no option at all.

And I'd like to sell the autocal to recoup a few bucks if not I'll just toss it.

Yep, get one thin fixed two more pop up. Got the dead pedal fixed and the no bottom end kinda fixed, not really, now I have a fpr table ****ed up and truck is bucking and jerking on the big tune

I have to DD the truck on the 150 tune to pull hills without loosing speed in 5th at low RPM's, my LLY I always ran tune two and three, I have to tow on my 120 tune in this one, the bottom end just isn't there and I know I can be, boost and fuel is wayy to limited below 1800, and why is beyond me

He likes to blame hard parts. Had a buddy that replaced a bunch of parts. Kept sending logs. A local tuner figured out the issue in 10 minutes. Kory had the vains opening way to soon causing huge lag
