05 lly zf-6 regular cab 4x4 190k

I bought it with intentions of keeping it back in august. So far it's got a few small mods. Race valve, egr plate, down pipe, 4" exhaust, valair 550hp single disc, and just a small dsp5 set up. I've lowered the back with shackles and no overload, then pulled torsion bolts out on the front.

I've got a set of 45% nozzles acquired for it that are not installed.

I'm torn on wether to modify it further or try and sell it. I'm really wanting a crew lmm. This truck is paid off and if I go to an lmm I'm going to have to sell a few other things so that I can buy one cash. I don't really want a truck payment right now. Me and the wife are expecting our first little one in early February so that plays a big part in the crew cab factor. The wife has a nice rig to drive so it's not like this is our only vehicle that the baby will be in.

Another factor is I go to the lake a lot during the summer and always pull my boat down. So usually everyone rides with me down there. Kinda hard to put more than 3 grown people in the regular cab.

I've talked to a couple forum members about selling my truck, just havnt really committed to it yet.

This is as of today

How much would you sell it for?

I've got a number in my head but I'm not sure if it's outlandish or not..

Only thing I want to keep if I sell it is wheels a and tires. I've got a set of factory aluminums I was going to put new tires on if I decide to sell.

Pending area I don't see 10-15k maybe even closer to 20k for asking price being outlandish.. I paid 17k for my LMM RCLB dually with mid 90k miles with middle of rd optioned out.
RC truck don't resale high CC version of mine was double what mine went for

I was thinking 15. It's not a mint truck but it's not beat up either..

Now for 20 id let the wheels go and send it to the body shop to become dent free!

20k dayum.
But...
That's a good lookin truck. I'd love to find a regular cab to match mine. My issue is I don't know if I want a DD or a runner. Either way though, it's a nice rig, hard to find zf6 Duramax trucks actually In good shape. Iv only put 600 ish miles on mine and it would be pretty hard to let go.

I don't think I could have swung the difference on the denali! It was a dream truck though

Spotted the GMC tailgate lol. No id love to have that thing my reg cab zf got wrecked 3 weeks after I bought it. Only reason I got a crew cab is its the next nice zf I found. 2 kids later I'm glad I ended up with it. My brother has the same truck as you just puter u can feel the weight advantage. It would make a great street toy. If it's paid off it would be hard to let it go if it were me. I won't sell another zf.

It's actually a gmc bed, I havnt got the badges off it yet or chevy taillights in it.

It's paid off and the next one will be paid for cash if I decide to upgrade. Another thing about this truck I don't like is the fact that the wife refuses to learn to drive a standard. So it's kinda a pain when we go to the lake since I have to drive the boat and the truck when loading and unloading.

We had my niece with us a while back plus my little dog and it was a crowd in this thing. Wouldn't have been to bad if I didn't have to shift it.

I think I would like this truck a lot more with a turbo or twins and some supporting mods. But I don't want to put 5k into it and then still not really like it so that's why I'm leaning tword a crew lmm.

understandable if you need more room, its a sharp looking truck but doesn't sound like the best route for your future family. I do love the single cabs though. My wife would never let me even go look at a single cab when i was looking for trucks.

Well I think you guys have helped me with my decision. I'm gonna fix a couple things on it and get the roll pan painted and list it for sale..

Look for it on the forum in a couple weeks.

Jason maybe we could do some trading on your lbz ;)

I went from an extended cab to a crew cab several years ago to haul people to the lake more comfortably...it was better for them AND me, hands down. If you're hauling people or a family the crew cab is the way to go for sure.

I love my regular cab for every day driving. I have thought many times of getting rid of it for a crew but I just can't bring myself to do it being a regular cab is so much fun for every day use. A crew would be really nice for going to the lake but I just make someone else bring a car along and I tow the boat.
