@ dmaxfireman some of my inspiration came from your truck, although I believe they must be fraternal twins, yours is slightly more built than mine:thumb:

Jay, good to see you playing and posting. To"fix"that sound, I think you just need to install the "Chock Full of Nuts" mod...;)

Nice first hook bro, the only tip i could give you would be to hold your break before the launch to build your boost / egt's. and let off the break as you give more throttle till you are 100% on the fuel and 100% off of the break.. When doing this, i am at 100% by 25 feet out.. I am not sure how this will work on your small tire so just get a feel for it as you take off. This helped me a lot from my first pull where i just did a soft roll. to my second where i build my boost and egg's. You want to get your wheel speed up before the weight catches up to you :thumb: good luck

First Hook: where i eased on to it

second Hook: Launch

I could of actually build more boost a little higher egt's but that was only my second hook, i was nervous as hell ( I even forgot to log that second pull :( ).. You learn something every time you hook. Its just like everything else, you get better with practice.

Just something to think about. Good luck

What egt should I leave at? And cause I am ignorant why build egt's? Thanx again for all the comments guys, I don't really care how the truck sounds right now, the comment was made if the down pipe was changed it would sound different, I was just curious cause I guess I have never heard one

there is no need to build boost or egts with a stock vvt turbo especially if you are leaving in first gear

Noted, so just cause I am curious, as I have seen others do this with their set ups, is it to get the turbo to light? What does that mean? If someone could briefly explain it to me as if I were a child I would appreciate it, thanx, so much to learn and comprehend. I always thought egts were bad!

heat and cfms are what spools turbos, stock vvts will spool almost off idle, larger turbos need more heat and more cfm or exhaust to spool and light

That's what I was thinking, but what does the actual term "light" refer too, As in your are making enough boost to keep creating enough boost, does that make sense? I have heard the term alot and this is what I envisioned but wasn't sure if that was correct

I'm just saying look at my 2 videos, I did
Much better with building boost and egts the second time over the first. You can see that clearly in my 2 videos / granted it was 2 different sleds and tracks but nevertheless, I had a way better pull by getting my tire speed up off the line. From my experience it was a big improvement.

And yeah I do launch in second gear so it might change things up for you a bit
