Hi,

I'm trying to take another LLY tune (from a knowledgable source) and use it on my LLY with a different operating system. I found the step by step guide with a little searching, and did it as the guide said, and everything appears to work. When I run the script on my stock file, it says "Done", but nothing is changed in the file. Anyone know what is going on?

Thanks,

Todd

The scripting process requires you to generate the differences between your friends Modified tune and your friends stock tune. You then are apply those differences to your stock tune.

It sounds like you are scripting 2 identical tunes which would result in no changes....

I understand the process (I think), and have done it several times with 2 different tunes with no success. I'm creating the script by loading his stock tune and opening the performance one to compare, and using the "create script" command. Then I open my stock tune and run the script with it open, and it lists a bunch of changes in the dialog box, but when it says "done" at the bottom, I go back to the tune and nothing has changed. I talked to another guy who was having the same problem and never did get it to work. Could it be something is different between the operating systems that makes the script not run correctly, or do you have any other ideas for me? Thanks!

If you want to send me the two files I can give it a shot for you..

:)

I'm not a pro, but I've got scripting to work, and it sounds like your doing it right.

Script feature is jacked up right now, I've used it numerous times in the past something is wrong with the latest update 7.5.5 or whatever it is. It's probably not you just copy and paste for now, I know it sucks though.

Yea. The more I read, the more it seems to be a software issue, instead of user (which is usually my case :D)...

Okay, sounds like it may not be user error. First time for everything ehh? I'll do some copy and paste work and see what I come up with. I don't mind doing that as long as I end up not making any mistakes.

Thanks,

Todd

An issue regarding scripting has been reported in the last 24 hours (This is the only scripting issue that has been reported with scripting since our release on Oct 31st). We are currently investigating. If the issues you are seeing differ to the detail in this thread http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?t=9498 please post the details within that thread so we can investigate all related issues concurrently.

Will keep you updated
