What makes you think your turbo is worn out.

When I put mine back on at 165k it was still tight no shaft play.

That is with 30,000 miles of 30+psi and 70,000 miles of above stock boost levels

well its not a matter of knowing its worn out, its just prevenitive maintance the way i see it but from talkin to scott and a couple other guys i dont have much to worry about. I jsut like to cover all my bases so to speak. i figured at the time if im gunna put a twin to it i may as well get the stocker redone. Ill check the shaft play here in a week or too jsut to make sure its not wearin out on me but otherwise im jsut one step closer to the twins if all is well

i agree and his price is pretty damn close to trents in price (sent me a better price than whats on teh site) but we will see. Im still likin trents more :D

If you compare price make sure its apples to apples, all my pipes and brakets are TIG welded , I have adressed the waste gate needing adjustment , i make a new custom passenger side boost tube full 3" , they re-use the stocker , i include a custom/ new over flow tank , they re-use stocker , i have a functional cold air box with a 90.00 filter with twice the surface area od a standard cone filter , every one else uses an open filter in the engine compartment, and my cost is still lower than theres simply because i am making less money per kit . Scott makes a nice kit , I have Installed one and am not saying anything bad about it what so ever , just stating the facts .

It just seemed cleaner to me to keep as much factory as possible under the hood. Its nice to reuse the factory 3" boost tube but I had thought of including a different one and routing the plumbing differently, in the end it just didn't seem necessary to me, everyone likes something different I guess. I've yet to sell a kit at my advertised price, working on getting costs down too but the stainless tubing can be expensive.

Your kits seem to be coming along nicely Trent:thumb:

It was not an easy choice in the beginning with there being a few companies out there now making twins but after seeing Trents fab work and attention to detail I am relieved that I know I made the best choice on the twin market IMO. This is speaking off from the looks dept. as of now so take it for what it is. Just wait Chevy1952 until I get my set. Ill will have plenty of pics and videos to help make that decision a little easier

Well that's awesome man. Having the $$ to pay the bills and still have some play money is what its about. I've been saving for twins for 2 years a little at a time and a decent tax return helped a lot to push me over the edge on making it happen! Your trucks bad ass btw, nice job with it. Now if I could only save some money for my future haha
