LB7: screaching turbo..

Hey everyone. Im a FNG here. But i was hoping you could help me out. Im pretty new to the diesel world so im still trying to learn..

So i juat had all my injectors replaced. Got my truck back, now when i give it some gas and stomp on it, it sounds like my turbo is screaching instead of the beautiful whistle sound a turbo is supposed to make. I have no smoke or anything like that.. Can anyone tell me what some possibilities may be. Thank you. And sorry for the FNG post. Haha

Welcome!!!!! I would imagine you have an intercooler pipe loose or maybe a loose clamp. Check at the connection at turbo. Even a little boost passing there will cause what you're describing

Something wasn't tighten down. What's your boost pressure?

Check your up pipe gaskets. When they leak they sound like what you are describing.

Boost or drive pressure leak. Take it back to whoever you paid to do it...

The screech it usually an exhaust leak.

X4 exhaust leak. Check bolts and look for black soot on up pipes, turbo, & manifolds.

Right on, I'm from burley. And I'm about to take leave to head back home next month. I talked to Dustin and he said he had a guy from Idaho in his shop with an lmm but I now realize you drive an lb7 haha
