is it just me or does it seem like at most diesel truck events track prep is a joke?
just not enough money to pay the track to prep it? Kind of a waste if you ask me
Well if we could get more drag events to draw people in to make money they wouldnt spend so much on sled pulling. I think that there are more sled pullers at these events and thats were they are making the money.
Matt (Camomax) blew a chunk out of his block oil filter and cooler come off in one chunk I believe he found part of the side of a piston as well when the tree fell he left white smoking all 4 tires and when finally got traction boom went the stock engine
Jeff (stingpuller) was doing really good in the 7.70 class when I left
The Bullydog Dodge had a wipe out and hit the guard rail but were his wheels stick out past the truck he didnt hurt the truck just the wheels were banged up really good
The drags was really drug out this year you spent more time waiting then watching the drags
And the best to my knowledge a Dodge took home the Win in 2.6 and 2.8, Wes K GMC Cummins Killer took home the win in 3.0
Rob Halls Caged Hooker is a beast he just got a bad draw and got to pull 1st and then he kept the pull but then as the night went on the track got better so it was just a tough night for him but he has a strong running truck

Has been the norm every time I went down.
Fass Diesel Nationals in Indy was rotten, but I don't think the rain the night before helped.
After we left dinner at Outback we saw the cops down in the parking lot at the coat factory glad I stayed out of there.
Well i was there and I went through the line and did one burn out I hope I can find it on youtube but the cops come and stayed there in the parking lot and just watched forever and then there was 2 dodges side by side and one of them gets the bright idea to do a burn out well when he hammers on it his truck slides sideways and he hit the other truck then here come alot of cops and they just told everybody to leave and then there some ppl throwing full beer cans and hitting the cop cars I told my crew to get in the truck that we was leaving because it was getting way of hand but it was fun while it lasted
Did the twin, blower truck run today. We saw it come in on the trailer. By the way he was tearing around last night in the fields , I'd hope he ran it today @ the track to see what it would do

seeing dually 2.6 and 2.8 trucks do burnouts in the campground was probably hands down the most bad ass thing I have ever seen!

He HAD!! a stock motor in it for the weekend. He wanted to beat MiniMe with a stock motor. Mini said he was coming but didn't. It's all good, we had fun and I made 21 passes in 2 different classes. Got down to 4 trucks in the 7.70 class and had fun. Matt should have the built motor back in soon and ready to go again. The stocker didn't like running 6.60's all that well. It did run 107 mph in the 1/8. Matt's:hug: my hero!! I havn't even broken a block like that. Jeff
