Leaving at 6am tomorrow. Looks like I have a twin turbo LBZ to run in the brackets. The owner will run it in the 12.0 index class.

My cell is 208-484-3670. Hopefully be in FLA. Thursday night.

Is everyone just drag racing? or going to dyno as well?

they want $70 for 2 pulls this go round...kind of steep but I want to test something anyway...

they will be dynoing at both the open house and the track...so let me know which location most are going to do...

What hotels are everyone who's anyone(hint:McRats) ;) staying at?

I'll be down Friday a.m. leaving at O Dark thirty to get there for 8'ish...

Bringing my 9 year old son for a pit crew...

Looking forward to meeting some peeps I have talked with for many years... :)

Honk when you pass my place....I'll just be getting out of bed....

My First Dyno results...

First Picture is the one I'm most proud of...

I would like to thank Tony from Ridge Runner Diesel for tuning my truck...

this thing is wicked on the street and on the dyno...obviously I could have done much better if my truck was up to the standards of his tuning...Lift pumps would have easily taken me over the 500 hp 1000lbs torque his tunes easily reach...and the moonshine is smooth...I just ran out of fueling...I see lift pumps in my near future...
biggrin.gif

Keep in mind the only mods I have besides his tuning is an exhaust and SC V transmission...

This is three different levels of tuning...level 2 is first 4 is next and level 5 was done twice...

Nice day at SC

The dyno was a new experience for me today to say the least. It was fun to watch all the true badass trucks show off what they had and even more to see tomorrow at the Drags. I put my truck on the dyno to find I didn't have something right with my tune. So it run on its stock tune, boy what a thrill. I took it off of the dyno gladly to check several things. I found that the tune was in but the lights were out!? So I retuned her back to whoopass mode and waited my turn again for the dyno. Close to the end of the day I was on it, to only see her limp at 387hp 648tQ . Not bad for a limp noodle. Well maybe next time. $$$$$$$SC trans! Thanks IdahoRob

Traction ?

Yes, there was a big traction problem while the tune and play was going on. After watching everyone play slip and slide, they went to work on the fixing the problem. Now that most were use to no traction. They sprayed VHT the length of the track and then spead it out evenly with a tractor that had a boxblade with large rubber strips bolted to it. With all that, it made a big improvement enough to change everyones E.T.s and break out, unleast they hit the brakes. Most of the time that worked, but not all escaped it.
