I have quite a few of Casper's launches on file as I am always studying them to try and give you guys an advantage. To me, that is the best launch I have seen to date and tells me we got the converter dialed in pretty well. You guys would know for sure better than I. Correct me if I'm rong.

No, you are correct that converter is dialed in for big charger trucks  Pat says it's the best 60ft time to date :cool2:

It's both better on the street, and better at the dragstrip with a big charger than any converter so far. I'm recommending this to anyone with a GT4094 or bigger charger, and especially for the GT42 and up.

I wish I knew what a 1.56 sec 60 ft time felt like.

I have been fortunate to do ride alongs with Pat and Guy. Pat is butter smooth when he launches, Guy on the other hand explodes out of the starting gates. They both get the job done in their own way. I love riding with them. :cool2::D

To put it in perspective:

A 1.91 sixty time is an average acceleration of 1g.

Our Z06 weighs 3090lb, and when you are on slicks, and rev it to 7,000RPM and launch at WOT, it goes high 1.5's on a good day.

Or...

Like getting shot out of a cannon! :D

whats the difference between the 1055 and the 1058?

1055 is looser than a 1058 which means it multiplies more tq ( slips ) down low before it couples. Coupling is when the 3 elements inside the converter ( turbine, stator, and pump ) almost reach the same speed and get very efficient which loads the turbo and makes you go faster.:D

So where does the Precision Converter fall in at ;)
