That's the ticket! Looks awesome. I must have its little cousin. I have wished the Precision logo was not upside down on mine.

Congrats.
Yours is the same as Troy's right? GT45 based. This is up one size in the frame and turbine so I should not need a wastegate. Comp wheel is just a little bigger than you have I beleive.
Lord thats a big turbo.....:)

Have fun, John!
Thanks
Got a link to the vids:D

That new precision i am using is pretty loose 2800-2900 rpm is pretty easy to hit so far while staging , still couples decent to ;)

It's a whole different deal in 4LO though! :thumb:

Good luck with that Travis... the recommendation to launch in 3rd would be easiest to do that.

John, I have little doubt you'll very pleased with the Precision turbo. From what I've seen, they are amung the very best performing performance chargers available regardless of whether you are racing or pulling. Impress the heck outta me!!

After learning a few things i learned this year, i think i might step up and try a precision similar to this size next year. John, you want me to break it in for ya the last few pulls? :D:spit::rofl:

The precision turbo we ran made it 60' and broke the shaft. 1 week out of warranty and they wouldn't fix it even though it was it very first pass.

The muffler is very effective. It is large and long. It fills most of the 7" stack. I don't like the sound of the crackle it makes without it. Sounds a lot like Wakeman's truck. In the cab it is very nasty. The muffler helps a lot. Plus it makes it sound different then everyone else.

what muffler are you running on that? I have been on the fence about putting on a stack due to the noise levels in the cab with most I have heard.

The pulling season is just about over.... How did the turbo work out for you?

I have not made any passes. Work and life have kept me to busy. 3 kids and 60+hrs a have made it hard to get finished. I have been spending a lot of my weekends working on standalone LBZ stuff. I was just in Texas last weekend and will be in Ohio this weekend, then Hot Rod Drag Week next week.

If you want to try we can work something out Rob.

That is a bummer. Not what you wanted to hear for sure. Sounds like my luck with S400s. Just look at them they break.

It is a straight thru that came with my Summit Exhaust. Paper work said it was made by Borla. The Hushpower works very well also.
