I'm posting some pics for sawmilldmax. He has an amazing build going right now.

I'll let him answer questions. I'm just posting some pics for him.

I love the classic orange block! Very tastefully done engine color combo so far in my opinion.

Thanks Brett. I struggle with computer tech. I plan on keeping this simple, single 12mm pump, one 75 five blade, 200 overs, stock LGH bottom end, Wagler gently ported heads modified for LBZ injectors, and Wagler valve covers. It is going to have all the trim on the body and I want the whole truck to have a near stock look. Ok, I'm over 50. My Dad bought this truck new {$2820.00}. Diesel Addiction built the billet six speed, and assembled the engine and Ryan did the wiring. I'm hoping to have it finished by this summer if I can come up with enough $. Under the hood has no shiny parts, a disappointment for me, but I want it to appear as if this 6.6 came in it from the factory. I want to drive it to the track and pull my little trailer with slicks (14-32's), jack, and a few tools, and drive what's left of it home.

Love the color combo on the engine. What color is the truck going to be? I couldn't tell if the inside of bed was white or just primered.

IMO there's not a better looking truck than the 69-72 (yes I left off the 67-68 on purpose, I don't like the slanted/pointed hood on those as well even tho it seems most prefer them. :D ) Chevy. :thumb:

It's going to be white with all the trim, bumpers, Budnik wheels, tinted windows, and black houndstooth inserts in a leather bench seat. The bench seat allows for an extra grandkid and clearance for the ecm and tcm and fuse panel. The fuel tank is behind the rear end and fills behind the side marker light. The stake pockets are filled and wheel boxes widened and the bed floor raised 4 inches. Power rack, Wilwood brakes, and double adjustable coilovers on both ends on Brett's old frame with a tube front end. Thanks for the interest.

Love the project! You should just paint it red and sell it to me in a few days! LOL!!

Quick question though...what is the link in the picture I have circled?

It looks like a sway bar strut but if it is it's at the wrong angle.

That's the ARB link, but it looks to me that it's not hooked to anything in the pic. Or if it is hooked up the other side is not hooked up and It's just laying backwards.
This is my old chassis. Otherwise I would not comment on someone else stuff.

I'm fixin to cover up Rick's manifolds and up-pipes with Levi's blankets. I had them coated but I got to cut down some heat since the back two cylinders are in the cab with me. Thanks to Brett for posting my pics. A friend of mine has My Wagler valve covers to try to paint some old school fins on them. A lot of folks on this forum have helped me a lot and I thank them for it. Maybe I'll get it going before too long and can make a pass or two before the dragstrips close around here.
