With my stock mounts bolted my cast flow manifolds were hitting the passenger frame rail. Now with the merchant mounts the engine stays put.:thumb:

I have stockers in both my trucks with 2 grade 8 bolts going through each of them and my motor doesn't move one bit. The bolts are tight as f**k though :D

That might just do the trick. That would bring the turbo forward a little bit. That would be a lot easier than taking the motor mount off again.

I'll have my lift empty this afternoon if you wanna try:thumb:

If I weren't 3 hours I'd wanna come over and help too lol

What pedestal & spacer are you using? I put GT42 on an LMM using the PPE cast pedestal & spacer & it had plenty of room.

It's a ppe tube pedestal. I'm not exactly sure what spacer it is. When I installed the kit the spacer looked to be about 1.5" thick.

Ok their tube pedestal is the same height as the newer cast model. The spacer I used was 3". Looks like you've got all kinds of room there. The intake is some kinda tight lol!

I know this truck. To dent the firewall any more we'll have to take the turbine housing off. That would be fine except when we tried one of the bolts from the housing to the pedestal started seizing up. It was all we could do to tighten it back down. Now it'll break or stay in. No 2 ways about it. Those damn hot side bolts can be a nightmare.

While i understand the frustration that causes, at some point its gunna need fixing anyhow if he ever has to take that turbo off for something else. may as well fix it now, give it a dent and carry on with no more issues:D

Ain't that the truth. One thing for sure is I won't put bolts there anymore. Look at Mike's picture. That left front corner has a stud & a nut. That's the answer:D
