there is a long line of people who would agree with you, i seem to be the only guy on the other side who doesnt :D

You'll run it once, especially when I get a built motor and Firebird (err wild horse motorpark) opens back up. We'll have to have a head-to-head of the two fastest and largest Duramax in the PHX area haha.

I know when I rebuild my htt there was a score mark on the shaft and on the compressor wheel to show where balance was, but in your situation I'm not sure that helps any.

Who is the fastest truck in az? ;)

Fastest Dmax, there is a few cummins based on times only that are faster, though I'd bet I could give them a good run once I get launches figured out

What rpm does the turbo light?

It's hard to say, probably around 2600 when it really comes on but will start building boost around 2000rpm. It's so smooth you don't really feel when the hit of it comes in

Heck yeah put loctite on something like that! What kind of gasket did he use instead of the vband/oring?
Is the hand tight then 90* still the general consensus? Do you just have to hold the turbine wheel with your fingers to keep the shaft from spinning? Also anyone know where to get the custom nut tools?

I make a gasket out of gasket material and silicone both ends a little bit. Has held up great when the 75 was on

Definitely can not hold the turbine with you fingers. Got to have a wrench of socket on the end of the turbine wheel. I think it is some inlb plus 90* and that is pretty dang tight
