rhall: I should be there between 4 and 5pm. Stacys gotta milk in the morning so we cant leave too early.

I will plan on ordering it with the T4 flange. Fab is not an issue for me, im okay with it, and my neighor runs his own professional welding and machining shop.

With these resources should I make everything myself or just buy it??? Im thinking make it especially since I have a spare motor to mock it up on.

I would defenatly make it then.

I will be up at SJD when you come by most likely, im good friends with Tim. To be honest im not sure what material to make the pedestal out of, i would search around and see what other guys that make them are making them out of.

so how does this sound, S400 with a 1.10A/R ratio, T4 housing, 71mm compressor wheel 72mm turbine wheel??

A guy here that builds custom turbos thought this would work ouit pretty nice.

Might want a tighter exhaust housing, 1.10 might be alittle too big JMHO

when you purchase the charger ask how much you can pick up housing for, IIRC the BW S400 housings are only $150. I would get a 90 and a 1.01? or 1.10 depends on RPM range you wanna work in.

Good luck with the change out.

Okay now for details.

What exactly do I need to mount this turbo up?? I know I need to make a pedestal, raise the turbo 3" up off of the pedestal and find a way to reduce the compressor outlet to the stock IC piping and also do some intake work. what else do I need for the oiling and such?? or will i just have to figure that out when i am mocking it up??

also what A/R ratio should I run??

thanks
