All the housing does is move where your charger comes alive.

Tracking, I want it to come alive as quick as possible because I will street drive it from time to time, also will drag race it and don't want to have an issue with it not lighting till I'm 3/4 down the track I guess. Do people run T6 housings as a single setup Ne-max?

Lbz, built trans, efi by Danville, Danville 68, full egr delete, mbrp down pipe, 5" mbrp to 7" stack, ppe guages, custom traction bars, airdog2 165, ppe fuel rail mods, s&b, afe blade runner, Arp head studs..died March 2015

Parts collected for the build. SoCal super damper, SoCal billet flex plate, SDP S400 kit, II 85% CP3, PPE manifolds/up pipes, PCV reroute. Slowly but surely lol

I would think you'd need a custom pedastal to get it to fit unless it was remote mounted? I would also get the 1.15 AR if possible. I know people have done it just not sure what they had to change.

Yea sounds like it would be more a pain than anything I'm going with a t4 housing I just don't know if I should wait until Borg puts out the s480 or 83sxe in a t4 or maybe just buy Caden's s483

Could always pull it apart and Frankenstein something together haha. That s483 would probably be your best bet though. Better pick it up quick that's a good price:thumb:

It's funny you say that because I actually talked to Scott at SDP about that exact thing but I think your right it will be far more cost effective to just go with the s483 lol and then when Borg puts it out in the sxe line with a t4 housing I'll just swap em out!

Most sled pullers run t6. I run a t4 with a .9. Great street manners. To me proper converter is more important

Hmmm triple s483's with the new SXE 76mm sounds tempting to me... Lol

Lol the first thing that came to mind was the amount of lint that would collect where your money used to be but it would be pretty badass

Danville and E.D. make t4 housings that fit the 96/88mm TW. I sold our old 483/96 to a cousin and he put a 1.0 t4 on it and runs it on the street. Labeling a turbo 't6' or 't4' is not accurate for this reason, plus they make t6 housings for the smaller turbines as well.

You would need a shorter pedestal built. The cowl will still be in the way just a little bit of the exh housing. The trans dipstick will need massaged, and depending on which engine you have, the fuel returns and fuel temp sensor stuff will need removed and/or moved. Will also need a different y bridge and intake than what most kits will come with. It can be done.
