My race cover will be necked to 5 from 5 1\2. Will that hurt anything? In theory it does I guess. But wear would u get 5 1\2 inch tubing? And filter for that matter? The goal here is more cfm because it's on the suction side of things is what I'm getting. I mean cfm any wear is good but mostly on the suction side.

Is it going to make a huge difference to must trucks, no. But it will make a difference in the higher power levels.

The vast majority of us have no real need for a 5" intake. Or a 5" exhaust for that matter. Get what pleases your eye and ears.

Plus 4 needs no rescale correct? So that's a pro for 4 inch intake.

Ps my 4 inch exaust sounds pretty sick I think
