Went down to II this morning to dyno the S371 , our comparison turbo was a BATMO S472 , .90 A/R W race cover , we ran it at the II dyno event a few weeks back and it did 818 , we ran the S371 with the same dyno settings and IDENTICAL tuning , the S371 did very good , it put down 801 on the same tune , pretty cool on a S300 based charger !!!!!

thats crazy for an s300 frame single charger. what did the comparison in drive pressures look like? and how much quicker does the s371 spool compared to the 472?

There are spool up vids in the thread in my vendor section , haven't tested drive pressure on the S371 yet , but boost is around 45 so cant imagine its too high , with the "clipped" 73mm turbine the flow is pretty good .

Trent did you waste gate this setup or was that without? How much Pw and timing in that the e?

This is non gated , USEC was 2500 , not sure on timing would have to look at the tune and RPM range for the run.

What about egts? That s371 has got to be nasty little high pressure charger.

That is what we initially developed it for , was a high pressure charger for our twin and trip kits , the best way to test it was as a single, pyro isnt working right now on my tow rig , going to swap it out today or tomorrow , but from our initial testing with stock motor , CP3 and sticks it was 1450 on a 3100 usec tune @ 5k ft elevation , waiting for results from a few other guys who juts installed them .

Here is a pic of the graph , run 1 was the same tune but tires were slipping so we had to strap it down tighter , run 2 was best numbers , 3rd run tried the number 5 tune which was quit a bit bigger but made less HP , got the same results even with the BATMO at the dyno day .

Trent, you've probably stated in the other thread, but was wondering about the supporting mods. Also, how "built" is the short block?

Nice!!

I like tacos.

Engine has , stock lb7 cut pistons , main studs , Howards rods , stock cam , stock heads with springs and billet hold downs , main and head studs . fuel it has 75% sticks , dual cp3's .

Trent, what would you potentially twin this with?

It would depend on desired HP goals , but as small as a S480 could work , as big as a GT5533 , we already have a set of Race Triples done around it , there installed and should be getting some track numbers soon .
