How big is to big when it comes to building a nice set of street/strip twins? Would a s368/83mm .90 or 1.00 T4 work as the small one and what would go good with it? I know most are going with a HTT 66/71/16ss and doing very well just thought going from T3 to T4 would help that much more.

I don't think the T4 housings are internally gated. That would require you do an external gate if they aren't.

What kind of pedestal do you have? The only one I know of that has external wastegate provisions is the Turbonetics pedestal.

Pro-Fab can make you a really nice T4 pedestal with provisions for an external gate. The wastegate port can come up where ever you need it to to fit the rest of your plans for the twin setup. Engineered has some nice external gates in 50mm and 60mm sizes. I am running a Pro-Fab pedestal with an ED 50mm gate on the passenger side. I would probably go with an at least an S472 with a race cover and an 83mm turbine and .90 housing with a big gate - then again I daily drive and tow with an S480 with an 87mm turbine in a .90 as a single.

i believe ED's gates are a bit overpriced.....i'm sure they are nice though. I went with the Syncronic 50mm gate Trent sells :thumb: and a Pro-Fab pedistal is the way to go :thumb:

Yes i was looking at turbonetics or Profab for a ped and hunting around for a right size gate just looking to start out with a S368 T4 from bullseye and then go from there just wanted to make sure it wasn't to big of a charger for street/strip twins later on. I didn't know bullseye sales SS housings i can't find them on there site. I'm going to give Trent a call and see what it's going to cost

thanks for the info
