A t4 flows more on the top end as its a larger opening.t3 is more responsive and better low end and if you ever want to twin your going to want the t3.I have the t 3 as the base turbo in my twin kit.

One thing to that some people say is that you'll get more drive pressure with a T3 than a T4 but it all comes down to your tuning.
With the tuning I've got my drive pressure is 1:1 or less for all different tunes. With that being said I'm sure which ever route you go, T3 or T4 your tuner will be able to get your pickup dialed in no problem. Just something I thought about that I would throw out there.

Its a lot easier to do it when doing gaskets and studs. I did all of mine at once. Made it real easy to mount the turbo.
