 There is definatly more there. That setup is begging for more fuel & the top charger is NOT a HTT.

I wouldn't be surprised that if you don't pay up or change your sig you will start catching lots of flack around here. Been there done that - only I did it back when they didn't have a paid vendor program in place, and took a little while to pay when they did put one in place.

My final update on this kit . the last thing to me on this kit was to prove it could still tow , and tow like a stock truck can only better .

load was my 5th wheel and another trailer carying my polaris ranger, generator, firewood, water and fuel , weight was 14-15k so gvwr was 21-22K

Last weekend i finally hit the road . covered 600 miles every terain possible from 4000 ft elevation to 8000 ft elevation and plenty of 6% grades .
the kit performed flawlessly .

The tune i made was using a pulse width of 2250 usec... not that big but still biggest tune i have been able to tow with to date and not have to let out of it on grades , and could go much larger but it was plenty of power for any grade i climbed . i was able to tow grades and lug 5th gear @ around 2000 rpm and egt's were in the 1100 deg range . Boost was 35 psi @ 2000 rpm and would get up to 39 psi or so at higher rpm's . I never doubted it other than lugging gears my... s300 never liked it before and always had to let out of it because of high egt's . i could litterally take my egt gage out of my truck now .

This kit has far exceeded my expectations . 100% street able , tows better than i could have dreamed , and has proven to have enough air to run 10's on the maxed out race truck and should take me to a high 11 with a single cp3 and stock sticks .

Appears like you like your twins Trent.:D The tow test is the key for sure, Sounds like you have a pretty nice tow tune. What kind of mileage were you getting?

mileage was down slightly from before but i also ditched the water meth kit so that could be part of it . i am getting 11-12 mpg i lost 1-1.5 mpg and yes i am a happy with my purchase :D.

I really don't realistically think you can expect much more than that. I totally question these guys who say they pull their 15K fifth wheel and get 14+mpg. I have never had or seen a duramax that would do that. I've only had 6 so maybe mine have been all fuel hogs?:D

Good write up, my interest in twins lately has gone up since my interest in pulling has gone down. I would really like to put a big set of twins on my 02 when the motor is done and get into drag racing more this year. What do you think this set up is capable of with a build motor, twin cp3's, and bigger injectors? (horsepower wise)

this setup is the same kit that maxed out racing just ran a 10.60 on fuel only , built motor, 2cp3's . you would have to get the exact setup from nathan , rob, or ken . you can opt for a 90 mm s400 and will support 900 -1000 hp . i think the s480 would support 800-900 . nathan would be the best person to ask .

We should be making right about 900hp (+ or - 20hp based on weight and mph) on the set up out of my street truck. Egt's are pretty warm there but it will do it. Changing to a 16cm SS housing would probably get us a little bit more but this set up was never intended for the truck. The bigger compressor wheel would do another 50-100hp.

i talked to nathan today and he thinks the kit will work well he said i might loose a touch of time on spool up but he said ifs its spooling good now i shouldnt worry wich it is, he said to set the waste gate around 50, and it wont matter only running it with 1 cp3 i just wish the kit wasnt a while out i'm excited :nanawrench::driving:, thanks for all the answers guys it a little unerving getting ready to drop 5k and not nowing what to expect and hoping this will be the last charger upgrade i ever have to do .

Looking through some old threads and found this kind of funny.
