S&B intake question

Hey guys don’t mean to waste anyone’s time here but I just installed the S&B intake on my 2016 3500 and saw in the instructions that I need to go to the dealership and order a new emissions decal in order to pass inspections. Is this true? I live in NY on Long Island specifically. I tried to order one online and I got one for a Malibu.... wanted to see if anyone else went through the hassle of this and how hard it is to get one from the dealership.

I would have imagined the S&B intake to come with the CARB sticker or emissions related sticker.

I took a picture of my sticker down to the dealer and after 3 tries they finally got me the right one. I got a smog check today and they spent about 10 minutes doing a visual, so while I am not thrilled to pay $30 for a little sticker, I was glad I had it today.

Do you still have all your DPF intact??? What state?

I’m in Nevada. The dpf is “intact” but it has been customized.
The first couple of stickers the dealer got were also for a v6 Malibu.
