I purchased one and installed it last week. Very high quality parts, great instructions with lots of photos, and sounds very nice. I initially installed the optional extra intake piece that extends towards the firewall, but it was a little too loud for my wife . I absolutely love this CAI kit and heartily recommend it.

I put one on my wifes 17, the vacuum cleaner stuck in reverse sound it gives in the cab at low boost is stupid, its better with the block of plate instead of the air scoop but way to much, took it off, its a very nicely made piece as you would expect from s and b, love the one on my 15 lml. But Just my $0.02 FWIW!

Was that a 17 duramax?
Only see them for Colorado that year
