S&B air intake help.

I am in the process of installing a S&B intake on my truck (LB7) and can't for the life of me get the plumbing to fit right, I have a HTT turbo on the truck and what gets me is the stock air box fits fine.
It looks like I need to shorten the intake adapter on the turbo to make it fit.

Has anybody been down this road, I starting wonder if some of the parts in the kit are wrong, of coarse it could just be me. :screwy:

A couple of pics, the hood will barley shut with the height of the intake tube and I reread the instuctions just to make sure I didn't miss some thing.
I hate it when 30 min job turns into this!

I could be wrong, but it looks like an LLY intake kit.

X2. I remember my buddies intake not having as many bends.

X3 The intake is not for a LB7.

I'm waiting for a call back from S&B, the part number on the box (75-5037) and instructions are for a LB7.

That is an LLY Kit for sure, the Exit out of the cold box has a bend to it and the second elbow has more arc...
