Something definately isnt rite with the truck, you should definately be deep in the 12's with your setup. I would definately look into the FPR or even the CP3. How many miles on on your truck?

93,000 miles.. I don't really think its the cp3 because a similar issue was going on with my 06lly and I did the injection pump and didn't change a thing! Maybe it's a little weak, but I havnt thrown any low rail pressure codes so the difference in desired as actual can be all that much I would think. I do know for sure my truck needs a fpr. Would that effect rail pressure wot?

Typically around 34-35 psi, didn't notice in overdrive. I'll do a few runs and let you know

Sorry for off topic, but what does your vane position look like?

Depends on RPM, I have to effectively use the max tables to limit it becuase the MAP can't read high enough to run off desired boost.

It's been a while since I logged it too... but according to the table should run from 40 down to about 14 from 2600-3250

My boost is real similar to beech's. I dont know what he has for tuning, but tony tuned my truck. I'm really happy with how smooth and linear the power is and boost and what not. When we were driving it after he tuned my truck it pulled like a mad man! But as my fpr started to get worst in the last couple weeks. It hasn't been performing like it should. Trucks loping like crazy now at idle and even at slower speeds. Wasn't ever sure on if it has an effect on rail at WOT? I have a lbz regulator on the way thanks to another dd member! Hopefully it's only the fpr!

Yea a wonkey FPR can do some weird stuff. You're in good hands with tony so I wouldn't worry about the tuning. You could always log the rail pressure to see what its looking like.

Yeah I hear ya man, I'm going to start by doing the fpr this weekend, then make sure the race valve is on nice as tight. I'll post a picture of the runs I ran this last Wednesday. You guys can see.

best run of the night... Absolutely horrible my 06lly trapped that with stock Trans and no liftpump. Tunes by diesel addiction. This is with tonys moonshine tuning.

With pretty much that same setup with robs tunes I went 13.1@103. So yeah its a bit slower than it should be. My 60's weren't as good either, I could only cut high 1.8's. That's in kansas at 1000 feet or so. With the s475 I didn't improve that much which pissed me off but I had some issues my best 1/8th was a 7.7 and that yielded a 12.92@ 104. I didnt hit 5th gear until 102. So it will do better when I get my shift points taken care of. Sorry got a bit off topic.

Ok quick question, I am
Going to run my truck at the strip tonight but it is going to be real hot, around 90 degrees. Now maybe a stupid question but is it going to have a real big effect on what I run since its going to be hot? I know with a turbo gas car or something people run into serious heat soak problems when it's hot out. What do you guys think?

When I had my 07 RCSB 4wd with 5.3 and sts I ran 8.21 in 88 deg and 7.64 in 44 deg....a hell of a difference for sure with no changes whatsoever. My tune must've been rich huh? Haven't ran my LMM yet.
