Running lights wire color?

I installed my cab lights finally and well the crappy harness recon sells is a waste of money... So that being said I've got everything buttoned up just need to tie into the switch ... I've searched but didn't find the answer I was looking for

What color wire in the switch is the running lights...

I want them to perform like stock and only come on when it's dark lol can't be having ghetto switches

I'm not positive on your truck but I have a 06 LBZ and I didn't use recon's harness I made my own. I plugged into the same spot recon was suppose to on passenger side door jamb dash panel and they work just like they should. I used a volt meter while someone operated the knob to find the right pin.

I can send a picture Monday of the pin I used.

I don't think they are the same, but I'll gladly look at the picture to be sure

On my truck it is the bottom left receptacle pin B on passenger side.

Where does the recon harness plug in? that's what I went off of. Then just checked to see what pins got power

Well they didn't come with any directions at all lol and the harness only has one wire to plug in so hopefully it'll plug in like yours did and I don't gotta piggy back into any wires

Here is what mine looks like.. Could possibly be the top plug guess I'll search for a wiring diagram tonight
