So I pulled my engine out to do head gasket and studs. I had the heads done and new injectors. I also built a compound setup. My problem is when I go to start it all it wants to do is runaway. The engine had no pipe hooked up just the exhaust side of the two turbos. Where do I start?

do you have both boost pipes off and just running with the bridge open to atmospere? that would isolate the turbo if it is bad and by Hot side he means the boost pipe coming off the outlet of the turbo. look at throttle position with a scanner is it somehow up high? like 50% or so?
yeah I can't imagine it running away from the fuel injectors unless it is getting some type of input. have you let it rev to the governer and does it stop there? On second thought don't do that lol. by the time you realize it wasn't going top stop at the 3500 or so it could be too late to shut it donw before bending push rods.
The Diablo ones? I thought they could see live data

Yes diablo. All I see on the scan tool is
Engine load, engine coolant temp, map,RPM,speed iat maf ,rail psi, timing , and injector balance

Tell me what you think. I pulled all the glow plugs and decided to do a compression check. I'm doing the compression check and I had one hole sitting there just spring out fuel the whole time. Is it a stuck open injector? Would that make it runaway?
