Rolling up on 50K on my Mike's rebuild

Just looked at the "clock" this morning and realized it was going on 3yrs and 45k miles ago that I had Mike do a rebuild on my '01 tranny. Truck is my daily driver on a 50 mile round trip commute (I also have a '99 S10 4 banger at my disposal but since both get me 22mpg on the highway, I'd rather be encased in big iron instead of little iron!). I do a bit of towing with either a ski boat or travel trailer and there has never been an issue! Works fine with my 50hp tow tune or 500hp Trent Nell tune. Thanks Mike for the quality rebuild!

On another note, I also have nearly 50K on my Yoko Geolander ATS's. I take it into the shop every 5-7K for tire rotation and the guys in the shop always comment on how well the tires are wearing and said that I have at least another 15K or so on them! Money well spent!

Yep Mike builds a great trans. Coming up on 80k miles on my Mike L trans at 550-600hp, and countless 1/4mi passes.

Make an appointment, drive over, drop the truck off with him, walk 3 blocks to the Crown Plaza hotel which is a great hotel with reasonable prices, walk back the next morning and you're done!

....or get a 3-5 day Disney Hopper pass, take your 5th wheel/travel trailer and check into Anaheim Resorts RV Park and take your time, that's what I did. Disneyland is only about 4 miles away and there's a shuttle bus about every 45 mins or so, $20 for a 5 day unlimited pass. I got a beefed trans and Momma got her some mouse ears.....

I don't have a Mike L Trans but he has still helped me out with advice/guidance over the phone. He has always been willing to help and I'm indeed grateful.
