It screws on. You can remove it easily. You can also weld it on it you like, I personally dont like the look of welded on roll pans. I painted mine myself for $60 using polyurethane from the local paint supply store.

My pan will be here Monday, I was about to ask everybody how the painted theirs..I've never painted anything lol..that being said, how tough was the polyurethane paint to use? Its coming "raw" so not sure what prep work I'll need

I simply modified the light that comes with it and swapped in an led bulb.

did yoru pan come with a light? or your saying you modified your stock light for the pan?
reason im asking is I went to 3 different auto stores last night and couldn't find a kit that would fit the pan cutouts. Im going to look online today and see whats out there.

It's a Chevy dealership body shop that our dealer does work with. Confident the color is dead on.
