I remember the last OBX I was at. Crazy hot but was a great time. The weather hasn't been good for anything lately

Justin, your daughter will love the track. I take my boys to all the events and a friend brings his daughter and son. We all have a blast and tell you the truth the little ones keep me out of trouble LOL!

I think we're going, maybe run a little. My daughter is probably going to run, so go easy on her this time TLyons, she's had her liscense more than a month this time, maybe she's got a little better.

:rofl: She had it easy! By me trying to spool at the line and looking over and seeing it was a girl about to race me completly screwed me up and made me run the worse time all day!

Plus I heard she had the truck into the Doc for a little something something so I might not stand a chance anymore :(

I had a good time at Rockingham today. After watching a few races I couldn't stand it. I haven't been to a dragstrip in 3 years and never made a pass on a 1/4 mile track, so I got in the test/tune lane and gave it a shot. Ran 12.675 @ 107 mph, which I didn't think was bad considering I didn't prep the truck at all. I was so excited that I forgot to use the lockup box, and I didn't launch as hard as I should have. I didn't bring a helmet so I couldn't make any more passes. Got to meet a couple of people on here too. The rain held off long enough to get the racing finished, but it made a big entrance before the pulls could start.
