more like hauling ass home.. finally (first time since i came out in jun 05) waiting on last load of laundry to dry, eat then step off :) :fluffy:

replaced my worn out 305 that i had in there and put in a much fresher 454. the sbc bore is so worn out. the rings i put in ~50-60k ago dont seal. it needs bored out to go any farther :rolleyes: been working on putting the 454 in last 4 days it is def nice not needing to slip the clutch from a stop. est power of my bbc is 300/490 lot better then the 330/330 of the 305

look like it was OEM..... FO i know it need washed/degreased :eek: :rofl:

im head back along the I40 then cutting northeast @ OKC to st/ louis then east on 70 to home. should be home some time wenesday :driving2:

Hello Adam, If your a Ohio boy we need to get together sometime. It would be nice to meet you in person. As you know if your from here there is a lot of racing and pulling to do here. Jeff

cool... ill shoot you a Pm when i get home either late tues aro some time wenesday..

so my little jalopey has manage 14-17mpg running ~80mph between 5,000-7200' 15gl tank doesnt go very far :baby:

spent last night in needles CA currently i am in vega tx just under 800 miles in 12 hours stopping ever 2 hours or so to refuel :( 1100 miles total....

avg 16mpg run 80-85mph.. lost the alt belt just south of indy this morning.... other than that im home.........

one a friend said not bad conisderint i put/threw the motor in:rofl:
