Road Trip

I took the truck for a road trip today, I was eager to find out what kind of highway milage I was going to get.

I went up to the Flagstaff the really long way, through Wickensburg, Prescott, Jerome and Sedona.. Basically any windy road I could find. Here is the map, http://goo.gl/maps/9m6yJ, I only have 3 pictures to show for all the burned diesel. Oh and I averaged 15.8 mpg.

Truck looks good! Gotta ditch that stock exhaust though and get a tune to shut off egr and get some better fuel economy. Btw I love Jim Gaffigan! He is a riot! Hot Pockets!

Those are great pictures!

I used to live in Prescott, so I know many of those roads. That looks like a fun trip. I used to do a road trip at least 1 day a month; the mountains are beautiful there, and the roads are fun.

That is good mileage for no tune. Be patient and wait for the warranty to expire. But be warned, once you start tuning, it is hard to stop buying go fast parts. :thumb:
