I'd take somthin cozy to sit on if i were you! Comfy shoes. And i wouldnt eat a whole lot either! #2 breaks (not for the truck) suck:rofl:

I drove from Cleveland,OH to Wichita,KS in 12hrs, thats posta be an 18hr drive! I found a semi convoy doin 90mph or so and tucked in with them for a long time! I prolly averaged 85 the whole time! Woulda been awsome till i got a ticket 1hr from home:mad:
Take breaks and switch drivers if you two are willing. I made the trip till Kansas City till my back couldn't take anymore and exhaustion/tired had me seein funny! So dont do that!

HAVE A SAFE TRIP!!!

2 years ago my Uncle and I flew out to AZ to get a truck and drive it back, hahaha that was a trip we were making good time till the fuel pump went out at Pacos. But anyways thats a long dame drive and i thought the worst part of all of it was going threw EL Shit hole. Dont be surprised if you get to go threw a border check, we did.

I'm used to the border checks...unfortunately..

Gotta know what happened with the traffic around San Antonio? Accident? Was it on the east side or west side of SA?

I dont know if you renting a car hauler from u-haul, but go a day early and check out the trailer you will be getting. Twice I have gont to rent a trailer and the brakes on the trailer didn't work. once there wasn't any fluid in the master cylinder and it was rusty and the second time the mechinism for the surge brakes was bent from jackknifing and wouldn't work. luckly there was another uhaul dealer close and they had one that worked.

Good luck and have a safe trip!!!!!!!!!!!

West-bound east of SA. They had it down to one lane for bridge maint. and then there was an accident where the traffic merged. By the time I got up that far it was all cleaned up, except for the drivers half of a Freightliner hood... :dontknow:

NASA has a shuttle, usually several empty cargo holds going west to east. :)

That would have been great info for them to pass along.. She had such little time to get ready I seriously doubt that it would've work out anyway.

Uhaul,.. Those F'rs wasted 2 hours for me on Saturday in Houston. When we got there she called the 1-800 number to return the dolly and they gave her the addy to the nearest location that would take it. Punched it into the GPS and away we went.. To the other side of the damn city! And, they wouldn't even take it!! The gal did find a near by store that would though. When I was finally leaving town I noticed that there was a Uhaul dealer 2 miles from her hotel. I was pissed!
