Info: rim questions

ok someone was saying the 04 and newer trucks have a diffrent bolt pattern on the rims then the older ones is this true and if so whats what i was thinking of converting my 2500 into a dually just ideas i got rolling around

I sold a set of wheels to my buddy with an 01......and mine's an 06. And they worked.

the bolt pattern is the same has been for some time now he beat me too it

The bolt pattern is the same, but I think the inside diameter of the wheel has changed to clear different styles of brakes/calipers.

The new wheels will fit the old stuff, but not necessarily the other way around.

i knew about ford and there metric switch but i heard somethign about chevys too and was like bs but had to be sure now where to find a dually flare for a short bed
