By doing this you satisfy the computer as it is cycling a dummy solenoid. With the original solenoid disconnected the valve body is commanding full main line pressure.

Does the stock LML converter take full line pressure ok? I thought it was mention here on the older trucks the stock converters couldn't take it?

I've been running Korys race Trans tune which is full line pressure when your wot for 10 months no issues at all. 40k miles on a 600 hp tune

The stock LML converter starts to bust up the lining on anything above 800 ft lb of flywheel tq. Some hold more.

Yes. It's the only thing you can do except TCM tuning that will raise line pressure. The solenoid costs less than 50.00 and takes a few minutes to install. Or you can use an A50 TCM and load a 2010 Vin#, or pay money for a TCM tune. They all do the same thing.
I did all this testing 6 years ago on my truck.

Is the wiring connector for the solenoid the one on the passenger side rear of the trans? Only harness I could see going into the trans from the bottom side.
