If you're spending $25k a year in fuel to travel and you can't swing shipping on a 30lb part then maybe you should take a weekend off. Your money problems shouldn't leave him in the dark. I run low 12's in my daily driven work truck and I am ecstatic. I don't want to push high end parts to their breaking point. You decided to take it to the next level and this is what comes with the territory. You think the first mustang in the 9's didnt get pulled apart after every trip down the track? Grow up and own up.

Its called "priorities", D. If you have an agreement with a company that you must send them parts by a certain date or time, then its on YOU --nobody else -- to do so. You work at Custom Auto, right? Why not have their shipping clerk help you box up parts and get them shipped? OR simply go to a UPS store at lunch with your parts and the addressing and have them take care of it for you? Heck, I could've helped walk you through making labels for packages.
Its not that difficult to do the right thing in the first place, and it would have avoided this carwreck. Like I said, I hope you guys work it out.
Just a FYI, when shipping UPS you can do it all from your computer with knowing the size of the package and the weight of it. They will even pick up from your home.
To me when i Test something out it usually means that part is not yet perfected ,so wouldnt that mean that a fail might happen until it is?Hence the reason he wanted D to send the stuff back to him. How about the 2 parties involved work things out and can post back in here once they do. I know everyone likes to jump into these theads and start posting their opinions and take sides but that leads to more speculation than anything.

Umm, yes I have however that is my choice as it is yours.
Parts break & shit happens, You have no clue how much broken stuff I have shipped back to various suppliers. I have never brought in into the open though.
You & Rick need to work this out or part ways.
It may be in our nature to act like a tough guy in a situation like this when others are onlooking. I agree... A better outcome will be the result of two calmed down men being reasonable with no audience to influence their mindset and disposition. Good luck guys

Both guys have some points, but I'm with Dmitri on this one. When you go thru aftermarket part after part and it's not working, the suppliers just don't realize how much time and money the consumer is spending...

Personally I feel there should be no posting except from Rick and Dmitri. But this is Rick's forum and for now I will just make a suggestion. Close the thread for now. There is nothing else productive coming out of it, when a resolution is reached post back and let us know. But in the meantime there are enough useless personal opinions floating around.
If this thread gets any further out of hand the useless posts will be cleaned up as this site is to help share knowledge / experiences, further the sport, and help others get better; Not post malicious bashing of a site vendor OR other member who are trying to work something out.

X3 i dont know all the details and we probably wont Rick your not out a full 3 sets some stuff you stated was traded for the 1st set.As far as r@d i know of companys that give their products to test especially high profile people that get your name out there.D you have to get product back to see what is bad in order to make it beter for you and im sure your a busy guy and so is Rick but if you want to futher the sport and help make things better for your self you need to help Rick make them better and we all benfit.You are both professionals and im sure a phone call would go a long way if both parties are willing.I have great respect for what you both have accomplished and hope you guys can get past this.Just my 2 cents take it for what its worth.
