Lol i know. I do lots of diag before i ask questions cause i hate asking a long winded question when it was some stupid simple thing i missed. Im just not sure a t-case could make that noise or if it was common.
Reverse Clunk, your opinons

i remember when i i screwed up my transgo jr install. i didnt use park for a couple of days. had to wait for the problem to fix itself. its just a waiting game
If its just a clunk when put in reverse i say rear end fail. If its a Bang i say its in the trans clutches.
Both my 03 and 04.5 make a clunk noise when i put it in reverse about 5 seconds after its in gear. Sometimes you can barely feel it then sometimes you can feel and hear it.
i remember now(looked it up at DP,where i asked about my issue in 07')
i couldnt get it out of neutral...i was to lazy to pull the pan off again. one day it pissed me off and i yanked real hard and it fixed itself. that is also the reason i can pull my key out the ignition while running

Just noticed a little bit of wetness at the rear of my t-case.
So, I'll order a new seal for pump rub day . . . like October.
Rear end is in good shape. If i had a clunk this bad in the rear end, it would be whinin and makin all kinds of noise.

bumping this up. t-case is rebuilt, swapped rear ends out back in december of 2013, trans fluid level is good and after driving it for a while getting everything up to temp, it does the same thing still. im out of ideas...
