Return line re-routing

Ok so with doing the twins i need to get rid of the stock hard lines that run over by the FICM, the feed and return are part of one block and i'm getting rid of the stock feed.

So my question is what can i do to get that tiny return line from the injectors to go back to the 1/4" rubber line in the valley w/o having to use that block?

Get a couple of brass nipples and make an adapter. The injector return lines are 3/16".

Yea i thought about that but i've never seen one that small. I'll check around a little more, thanks for the sizing.

more like 5/16". in the middle of doing it myself.

They're 3/16" on an LLY/LBZ/LMM.

#8 x 1.25 x 4 JIC ( A/N ) will hook to the heads for return lines and is very clean.
thats basically a 1/4" ID is probably less but still bigger than stock

the return of the cp3, i posted long time ago? dont remember now.....then just make a block or T system

So i'm gonna bring this back from the dead. I'm ready to hit the buy button on the fittings i'll need but was just wondering if anyone had any pics of their return line mods.

I'm going to run -4an to 4mm barbed fittings from each return line, then put a T in the center down by the CP3, then run new 3/8 line back to the cooler.

I figured if i'm running all new feed lines i might as well do the return too.

Are you talking about the turbo return lines or the fuel ?

Your going all out on that line. Have you looked around for pricing? silicone intakes some of it is kinda pricey.

I was just going to cut off the return line and use a bead maker and a clamp for the line going into the head. but now thinking I might steal some of your list and just use barbed Ts.

My OE return line hits the Ybridge so gonna delete the FPRV and run soft line all the way back.

Well I needed a fitting for the oil drain, then i saw that their fittings will only work with their line so i have to buy line, then i needed a new fitting for the turbo. So my $40 order got to $176 pretty damn fast. But oh well might as well do it right the first time.

they are just AN fittings. and braided line. I know Jegs/summit has their branded stuff that is cheaper.

Well didn't order from them, i found everything at McMastercar for like half what they had it for. Also I've got more 1/4" line here at work than i know what to do with, so i'm just gonna run a new return line back to the cooler. I think I should be fine with 1/4" line rather then 3/8", i'm not returning much fuel anyway.

Can anyone tell me what the sensor on the return line does? It's located on the driver side just before it exits back to the tank.

That's the fuel temp sensor.

There are some tables that reference fuel temp. I would put it somewhere if you can.
