Sorry to hear your lift pump problem. Hope u get it figured out. Its really weird how many people say dan@ppe helped them more then he needed to, but then there's a few that say he's a ****head and wouldn't deal with him anymore. Guess that's the most confusing part of this whole deal.

Yeah I saw the header and manifolds deal. I bought ricks manifolds and up pipes already. Just because I had good luck with his egr delete tube. Liked his work and now will be buying whatever else I need cause of it.

That happens all the time. When u have an awesome product someone wants it to. I doubt there identical. I mean brake pads all look the same, rotors all look the same, tires all look the same, but all perform differently and longevity of each is forsure different. All I know is ricks stuff is awesome, fits great and performs great to. We shall see what the real differences are in a few years. Cause I have ricks stuff and a buddy awhile back bought ppe. Goin to be a good comparison.

If your buddy bought ppe's a while back, he probably has RDLs, PPE has sold rdl manifolds for 2 year iirc, and they have just now started making their own... After copying Ricks. Rick has built headers for the duramax, since PPE was still selling stereos.... He did all the ground work, and they stole it, plain and simple. When you send a set of someone elses headers, to the place that built yours... whatelse would you call it?

There's a pattern though, the great help was offered on the easy jobs. Not the ones that were actually ppe's mistake

Not sure the exact date he bought them. Was somewhere in spring early summer. after.he did his is when I wanted to do my truck. Ricks stuff is a work of art. Hard to believe if fits as good as it does until I put some on.. Mine are only a few weeks old tho.

Well those kind of threads are a needed evil IMO... I know my opinion doesn't matter much because I'm a nobody in the Diesel community... but I do have money that I like to spend on my truck and learning that PPE ripped off someone like Rick, pisses me off. I won't be supporting PPE. Rick will continue getting more of my cash.

Thanks for the beautiful downpipe!

Ummm you do know that Rick casts them for PPE so that means Rick still makes $$ off every set PPE sells.

I would say it was a good move for Rick it gets his item out there faster he makes a little less off them but sells a lot more.

Hell look a RBP 99% of it is re-bage items and the tuner they have is a PPE.

I am not in the fight as I like some of PPE items and so far have not had a problem but I have not order any of them right from PPE so I have no say.

And to answer to Pat, since he closed the thread after saying he doesnt give a $hit about RDL. Give it a break Francis, you hold a grudge from a long time ago that has nothing to do with his products.... Nobody cares anymore :thumb:

Show me 1 other Racer/Puller that thinks his customer service sucks... You west coasters have a lot to learn before you compete with the Mecca:roflmao::roflmao:

Looks like we have a WHOLE list of people that think Pee Pee Eee sucks.

I vouch for RDL's customer service. Had an up pipe from one of his sets that had cracked along the weld and was well over the warranty period. Did Rick care? Hell no! He had a brand new set sent out to me immediately! I don't think customer service can get any better than that. Thanks Rick

Thanks Guys for the support!!

I do have a couple of people that don't think highly of me. Pat is one of them. I've done my best, but sometimes it's not good enough. Sometimes you just can't make things right in everyone's eyes.

I think it's time to follow Mike's advice because I don't want anyone getting in trouble on my account.

Thanks again!

we should talk if you need help in a couple years with your business;) I was thinking about fabbing parts myself on the side, not getting too big or competing with anyone, just for buddies, locals, and myself..
