Looking to get a buddy's tranny upgraded... Out here in Woodward OK and don't know anyone close.... Also would like to have my 4l80e tranny looked at b4 going into my gasser... He's looking for pretty close place if possible
Kind of a long haul, but Tim@st joe diesel is good with allisons. Hes built mine a couple times, the most recent has lasted a season of 10 second passes, and 2 seasons of sled pulling with big power. We just tore it down last week, and it will run a 4th season.
Dang 7hrs to St. Joseph.... I've tried hard to get him to go where I got mine done at Texas Diesel Performance n that's 6hrs away for him and he said no..... Guess he's gonna find out he might have to travel to get it done right.... Thx so far for the help
Yea, i dont know of any shops ive heard any good out of from Kansas, but they might be out there.
I would also recommend Tim at SJD. Great guy, easy to talk to, and will always stand by his work. I know my transmission has been great through all the abuse I put my truck through.
