Is it possible to change out GPCM and reflash data( injector flow rates, etc..) to it with an Autocal? I have a new GPCM, but don't know if the reflash is possible with Autocal or if I need to take it to a dealer with tech2 capabilities. Thanks yall.

As far as I know, an autocal doesnt have the capability to reflash modules like that. Tech 2 or equivalent + TIS2WEB is what you need.

The V2 can do it (just the injector flow data), so I would imagine the Autocal could do it.

Thanks for the reply. I've heard it can be done with V2/Tech 2, I just can't find any writeups on if Autocal has the capability. I've heard through the grapevine it is possible though??

Yup, they do. Scroll down to 'Tuning Tool', ok, scroll down to 'Read GPM Injector' or 'Read ECM Injector', ok, then 'Program GPM Injector' or 'Program ECM Injector', depending on which you need to program. In tour case, read ECM and program GPM. I believe the Autocal has a simple mode and an advanced mode - you might have to enable advanced mode.

So I would read ECM, install new GPCM and program GPM or would I read GPM , install and program GPM?? I'm confused why I would read ECM if I'm trying to read the GPM where the data is stored?? Thanks for the help

So I tried several times to flash the new module, but it wouldn't do it. Keeps giving me $0281 error. I'm able to read ECM injector, but can't program GPM... Any ideas guys?

I don't think an aftermarket radio or amp would affect efilive functions on a LBZ or LMM. On the LBZ, they would be on the Class2 bus, and on the LMM, it would be on the low speed GMLAN. The V2 /autocal uses the HS GMLAN. What was the reason for the GPCM replacement?

So on edit, I changed it out due to the Loss of Comms with GPCM code I received and ran through the wires and couldn't find anything pinched or damaged.

Well, what was the issue? Did the Auto Cal do the Reprogram or ??
Issue was the GPCM. Yes, after running the truck for a few days, it popped another CEL, which I used the Autocal to delete and it finally accepted the ECM injector data...not sure why it wouldn't before, but happy to not see the glow plug symbol light/CEL on my dash. So yes, the Autocal CAN be used to transfer ECM injector flow data to GPCM. Mine was just being stubborn for a few days.
