I wouldn't let them tell you who to use, you have no ties to that insurance company. If it were me, I'd go get 2 or 3 estimates from the company's I would want to do the work and then tell them who you wnat to use.:D

You think Jerry would take a look at it?

Well, finally got all the kinks worked out, and it looks like my uninsured motorist coverage will have to handle this. The bumper took most of the hit, and the frame is rock solid. No bends, creases, etc...the guys at the body shops I've seen have been amazed.

So, check in hand, ready to get 'er fixed...finally.

Going with the 10" Ranch Hand drop down with the ability to keep the factory receiver, so I'll get it replaced too.

Little bit of body "massage" and she'll be back on the road in no time.

Larry, heard the train horns...NICE!:thumb::thumb:

We've got DMI Cush'n' hitches on all our rigs and love them...held on by 8 bolts but then its welded to the frame as well. It sits about 6-8" lower than the stock bumper, but it keeps our trailer level too when we're towing instead of it being at an angle.

Factory hitches just dont last on our farm for some reason, if you want a factory one i'll sell it to you cheap because we got a pile of em.

Thanks for the offer on the factory hitch. I was able to get a new truck take-off from an aftermarket dealer here in town for <$100, and I really don't tow all that heavy all that often. I'm going to bolt it to the bumper from below, and weld the bumper and hitch to the frame for added strength. I figure if someone hits me again, they'll have a lot more damage than this little girl had...:angel:
