Hi I'm new to this site mostly because I've never had any trouble with my 2002 Chevy Duramax.
I just replaced the fuel filter for the second time since buying new. The first time everything went smoothly. This time I purged the air and it started fine for just a few seconds then quit. So I verified a second time that all the air was out and cleaned up diesel a second time. It still won't start after about 20 seconds total crank time. Also, I hear a motor running like maybe the fuel pump but that's in the tank, right. The motor I hear is in the front center of the engine.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jerry
