Is there away to do this without breaking the mirror. My drivers side blinker is not working. I have power where the mirror attaches to the door, but can't really get to the connector behind the glass.

Push straight up on the glass. There is a glass removal tool that comes with the mirror, there are other options its about 2"x1/4" 12" long.

A flat bar of steel 1/4" thick and 2+" wide would work fine. It does take a fair bit of force to get them to pop up, the fist couple are a touch nerve racking.

Thank You all for your help. Video was great. A wire for the blinker was broken behind the glass. Must of hung up while extending the mirror for towing.

My passenger side turn signal hasn't worked since I bought the truck a few months ago. I watched the video and mirror popped right off and looked and one wire is broke and it looks like the rest are ready to break. Now my mirror will not adjust. Going to get this fixed tomorrow. I'm so excited cause hopefully now the turn signal light will work.

Should be any easy fix. I just fed wiring slack from behind the door card thru the mirror extension until I had enough wire to make my repairs and reversed the process.

Well harbin_22 took care of me. Redid all the wires and everything works now. And this whole time I thought I was going to have to buy a new mirror or the lens.
