Info: Removing fender flares

I took mine off the other day. My truck has never been an a accident. Everything was fine except the driverside of the bed the paint is blistering up. Just wanted to share with everyone. If you wanted to check under yours to see how it looks. I know the old s10 blazers used to have alot of problems with this since moister/dirt gets up under them and causes rusting. Im going to have to get the bedside of my truck repainted now

Yeah, the flares and molding for that matter seem to trap dirt/debris.

I removed the moldings on my old 04 Z71 and couldnt believe how much crud was under them.

But im keeping my moldings on this truck to prevent door dings.

yea them fender flares really hold the dirt and water.....

How did you get the screws holding them in off? They aren't those damned christmas tree type screws are they? I always destroy those when I take them off

Nevermind, I figured it out today when I was tapping my exhaust manifold
