So I just installed a set of Bushwhacker extend a fender flares on my 02 truck. The factory plastic flares were pretty sun faded and required constant shining. Thought I'd try the bushwackers out.
While I was at it, I decided to pull the factory side moldings off. Used a 3m eraser wheel to get all the adhesive off. Truck looks way better, but does anyone have tips on paint care? Since the truck is black and over ten years old, with the moldings removed you can still see where they used to be in the paint. Will a cut a buff help this? A specific wax? Any tips?
Also ordered up some 2" wheel spacers to put on the back to get the tires out flush with the new wider flares, they should be here by the weekend.
