Mine will lock up with the key in the ignition with it running, i do it all the time in the winter. I have my keyless entry fob on a quick release, pull it off shut the door and use the key fob to lock it. You have to use the fob because it will not lock when running by hitting the lock button on the door.

LOL, that's the same thing I do too!

my wife is the only one who takes the keys out of my truck, throws me for a loop if she's drove it the night before and i go to start it in the morning before work, thing i don't understand is why i lock the front door to my house at night, house key is on the key ring in the truck and so is the garage door operner

sadly its against the law to idle more than a couple minutes now in ct. with our pumps here and more so in the winter it takes more than a couple minutes to fill up. i do my fueling business with a friend so i dont have to pre pay, but i am yet to find a station that offers fill first.
