Under a big a$$ rock...
Sorry guys, I don't have pictures yet. But I did take the truck for a test drive tonight and my FICM cooler works amazing! It was at ambient temp the whole time... Even with the pump off it stayed really really cool! I just used a $20 pump, reservoir and a little tiny power steering cooler. By the time you get fittings for the FICM (really odd size!) and all the stuff you might be in it $100-150. Ran a 50/50 mix of coolant through it and voila!!! Pics will come tomorrow! Need sleep! Good news is no issues, codes or anything of the like! I cannot tell you if its running better or worse because of it though, I did way to many things at once to tell...

Awsome Dude! :bananallama: :happy2:

Thats somthing i have been seriously thinkin about doin when i start in on the twins. (prolly in the fall?) I dunno about relocating them to the cab inside but a i deff wanna straighten up the nest of a harness the factory job is. I can see how much room it takes, GM's isnt very tidy:( I wanna make some more room too.

Can you elaborate on the pump you used for your FICM cooler?

Im gonna use a BMW electric auxulary water pump for mine, has a magnetic impeller drive, its very quiet too. I wanted to use a Perma-Cool PS cooler too. :D

I just used a cheep ass fuel pump from Napa... I think the cooler is a must but as far as the resivoir goes I don't think you need it. The TCM gets hotter than the FICM when I have the FICM pump on... Glad I have them piggy backed... I will get pics of the inside before I put the center concole back in. Just need to do a little looming before I am willing to post those pictures. I really don't think its worth moving them around in the engine compartment. If your gonna do the work and have the time (and are willing to loose your stock sub and amp) I would seriously put them in the center concole (if you have one). I am glad I did it now that I am like 95% done with it...
